Private Equity Vice President or Senior Associate

Soul Equity Solutions is recruiting a Private Equity VP1 or Advanced Senior Associate for a San Francisco Bay Area-based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market investing.

The firm invests in essential businesses within the modern industrial economy, differentiating through a hands-on, partnership-driven approach working closely with management teams from day one. Backed by a successful debut fund and preparing to raise its second fund in Q2, the platform is selectively expanding its investment team.

Investment Strategy: Target companies with $5-35M EBITDA and enterprise values of $50-300M per investment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Investment Evaluation: Support all aspects of sourcing, screening, diligence, and ongoing management of investment opportunities

- Market & Industry Research: Analyze target industries, end markets, and competitive landscapes

- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and refine detailed financial models; perform valuation and scenario analyses

- Transaction Execution: Assist in structuring transactions, managing diligence workflows, preparing investment committee materials

- Portfolio Support: Partner with portfolio company leadership on value-creation initiatives including growth strategy and operational improvement
