Principal – Healthcare Private Equity

Soul Equity Solutions, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm focused on lower middle market healthcare investments, is seeking a Principal to join its investment team.

The firm targets healthcare companies with up to $100M in revenue, partnering with founders and management teams to drive operational and strategic growth across sub-sectors including healthcare services, behavioral health, physician practice management, home health, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare IT.

As Principal, you will serve as a day-to-day deal lead — the senior most deal professional below Partner. You will have meaningful ownership across the full investment lifecycle from origination through exit, managing both junior professionals and external partners while collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategy and portfolio direction.

Core responsibilities include leading sourcing efforts in defined healthcare sub-sectors, serving as deal captain on new investment processes (coordinating due diligence, managing timelines, and presenting to the Investment Committee), building and owning complex financial models (cash flows, returns, valuation, deal structuring scenarios), and preparing IC materials.
