Media Partnerships & Investments - Analyst

Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM), a 8 billion global asset manager and family office founded by George Soros in 1973, is seeking an Investment Analyst for its Media Partnerships and Investments team in New York City. The team manages an active and growing portfolio of digital media and information businesses spanning audio, video, and next-generation content brands, taking a hands-on, operator-informed approach to value creation.

The role spans both new investment evaluation and ongoing oversight of existing holdings — roughly split between analyzing potential investments and engaging directly with management teams of current portfolio companies to track performance, identify issues, and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities in media and communications through market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and written investment materials. The analyst will work in a small, flat-structure team with direct access to senior leadership, requiring comfort moving between financial models and conversations with CEOs.

SFM operates with an unconstrained mandate and permanent capital, investing opportunistically across public and private equity and credit, fixed income, foreign exchange, and alternative assets.
