Role Overview

Soros Fund Management (SFM), a global asset manager and family office with roughly $28 billion in assets under management, is hiring a CFO for Prism Media LLC — a newly established portfolio company that operates as the shared-services platform for SFM's Media Partnerships and Investments portfolio, including Crooked Media, First We Feast, Her Campus Media, and MeidasTouch Network.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a senior operating officer of Prism Media, with Finance, Legal, and Human Resources reporting directly into this role

- Build and lead a small, high-performing shared-services team across functions

- Define how Prism Media operates from the ground up — processes, norms, and infrastructure

- Partner with SFM and portfolio company leadership to evolve the platform's scope and service model

- Lead accounting, reporting, and financial close cycles across multiple entities

- Establish budgeting, forecasting, and performance-tracking frameworks, and translate financial data into insights for portfolio leadership and the Board

Qualifications

A builder's mindset — comfortable creating infrastructure that doesn't yet exist, making decisions with incomplete information, and earning trust with portfolio company leadership through execution.

Location & Format

New York-area role, four in-office days per week (hybrid).
