Role Overview

Redesign Health is a global venture firm that builds and invests in next-generation healthcare companies through venture capital and venture buyout strategies. Through a Digital Innovation Platform launched with Cedars-Sinai, Redesign is hiring a New Ventures Associate to source and evaluate healthcare venture opportunities embedded inside one of the world's premier academic medical centers.

Key Responsibilities

- Research opportunities across the healthcare landscape to identify venture-backable companies to build or scale

- Build competitive landscapes and market analyses, turning research into actionable investment theses

- Evaluate and prioritize innovation opportunities using Redesign Health's venture-building frameworks

- Source and co-ideate with founders once an opportunity is identified

- Build and maintain a network of external founders and evaluate them for partnership/company-creation opportunities

- Lead development and launch of new venture-backed companies, targeting at least one new company launch annually

Qualifications

- 1-3+ years of experience in venture capital, early-stage investing, startups, or a related field

- Healthcare domain expertise preferred, with ability to develop original investment theses across care delivery, health tech, and digital health

- Fluency in business model analysis, primary/secondary research, investment thesis development, and financial modeling

- Bachelor's degree required with demonstrated academic excellence

Location

Los Angeles, CA — onsite 3-4 days per week at the Cedars-Sinai office.
