Quona Capital, a leading Venture Capital firm, seeks a Director of Finance & Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping its financial infrastructure and operational efficiency. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance and operations professional to build and manage critical functions within a growing investment platform, directly contributing to the firm's strategic objectives and supporting its mission-driven investments.

The Director will be instrumental in ensuring the robust financial health and streamlined operational framework necessary to support our investment activities and uphold our commitments to Limited Partners. This role offers a chance to be a foundational leader, providing essential support that underpins all investment and firm-level activities.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Director of Finance & Operations will oversee all aspects of the firm's financial management and operational processes. Key responsibilities include:

Fund Administration & Accounting:* Manage all fund accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, and comprehensive Limited Partner reporting. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and lead annual audit processes.

Financial Planning & Analysis:* Develop and manage firm-level budgets and forecasts. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize resource allocation across the firm and its funds.

Compliance & Reporting:* Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Prepare and submit all necessary financial and tax filings for both the management company and investment funds.

Treasury & Cash Management:* Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and liquidity across all entities, ensuring optimal financial positioning.

Operational Oversight:* Streamline and improve internal operational processes, including vendor management, IT infrastructure coordination, and robust data management systems.

HR & Legal Coordination:* Administer payroll and benefits programs, and coordinate effectively with external legal counsel on fund formation, investment documentation, and general corporate matters.

Portfolio Support:* Assist with portfolio company valuation processes and provide critical financial data for internal analysis and external reporting.

Risk Management:* Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks across the firm.

This full-time position is based in Washington D.C., United States. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the seniority and critical nature of this role.
