Director/Sr. Director, Strategic Initiatives & Integration

Performant Capital is a Chicago-based lower middle market private equity firm focused on B2B SaaS investments. The Director/Sr. Director, Strategic Initiatives & Integration will work directly alongside the President on the most critical priorities of HPC, a PE-backed EdTech platform growing through organic expansion and disciplined M&A.

This is a high-visibility seat at the table — not a supporting role. The successful candidate will have real ownership over post-acquisition integration, cross-functional execution, and strategic initiatives spanning the entire business, with direct exposure to PE sponsors. The position is viewed as an accelerated path to VP/GM-level P&L ownership within 2–3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work directly with the President on high-priority strategic initiatives spanning growth, operations, and integration

- Own post-acquisition integration end-to-end: planning, workstream tracking, and cross-functional coordination

- Drive organic growth initiatives and operating model improvements

- Build internal project management infrastructure and hold the organization accountable to deadlines and outcomes

Requirements:

- Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, PE-backed company, or investment bank with an operational track record

- Demonstrated experience leading integration or operational transformation projects

- Ability to operate in ambiguity and impose structure

Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus + potential equity participation

Location: Remote (preference for Miami, FL area) | Travel: 10–50%
