Partner (Japanese & English Bilingual)

Pegasus Tech Ventures is currently seeking a Japanese & English Bilingual Partner, passionate about venture capital / technology startups, to join its HQ in San Jose, California. Pegasus Tech Ventures is a global VC firm headquartered in Silicon Valley that manages 40+ funds, primarily for large global corporations, investing into startups and facilitating business development between the corporations and startups.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Source category-leading startups in global markets for investment and partnership opportunities

- Conduct research, due diligence, financial analysis and modeling of potential investments

- Lead deal negotiation discussions

- Monitor the financial performance of the investment portfolio

- Support investors on business development activities with top global companies

- Manage daily communications with potential investors and process requests

- Support business development activities and relationship building to acquire new investors or clients

- Support the establishment of new funds

- Communicate investment or partnership details with investors/LPs in Japan

- Work with prospective clients on selected projects

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of startup/VC founding, management, or executive role experience

- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree required

- Native-level Japanese language skill (speaking, reading and writing)

- Business-level English language skill

- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects

- Deep passion and understanding of technology

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Strong analytical skills and business acumen

- Must be able to work from the Silicon Valley headquarters office (visa support available)
