Director

Role Overview

Oroco Capital, a Miami-based private investment family office, is hiring a Director to join its investment team. Oroco invests its own dedicated capital across the full capital stack (equity and debt), backing founders and families with a patient, long-term approach outside traditional fund timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead deal sourcing, evaluation and execution across the capital stack, including financial modeling, due diligence and transaction structuring

- Work closely with portfolio company leadership to develop and refine growth strategies and oversee performance

- Support key operational and strategic initiatives at portfolio companies

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with founders, management teams and advisors; represent Oroco at external meetings and industry events

- Contribute to internal investment committee discussions and help refine the firm's investment theses

- Mentor junior team members

Qualifications

- Strong investment and financial skills: financial modeling, valuation, deal structuring

- Background in private equity, private credit, investment banking, or principal investing with a track record of leading transactions

- Strategic planning and operational improvement experience supporting portfolio companies

- Strong relationship-building and communication skills

- Leadership and mentoring experience

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field; MBA or equivalent a plus

Location

Miami, FL (remote ok), with travel to portfolio companies and partners as needed.
