Investment Associate - Funds, Teachers Venture Growth

Play a meaningful role as part of the dynamic and successful fund investing team at Teachers Venture Growth (TVG). TVG is the investment department within Ontario Teachers focused on late-stage venture and growth equity investments across the technology sector, with offices across Toronto, San Francisco, London, and Asia. TVG has built a portfolio greater than C$8.0B and seeks to deploy up to $1.0B+ annually.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide coverage of external manager relationships across North America, Europe, and Asia

- Work with Head of TVG Funds and colleagues to support execution of TVG Funds strategy

- Build strong ties and engagement across TVG existing in-region fund partners

- Identify and evaluate prospective relationships

- Drive direct investment opportunities (co-invest/follow-ons), knowledge sharing and insights

- Lead aspects of execution of commitments, conduct diligence, prepare investment memorandums

- Generate investment recommendations and review legal documentation

- Prepare investment committee materials and support analysis

- Draft recommendations, review/negotiate legal documentation

- Support valuation processes, ongoing monitoring and administration of investments

- Engage with key partners globally including investors, entrepreneurs, VC and growth equity-focused banks
