Vice President, Investments

OCV Partners is seeking a Vice President, Investments based at its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. The VP will oversee investment opportunities from sourcing through closing, with a focus on venture capital investment opportunities that offer high upside in the technology and healthcare sectors.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating venture capital investment opportunities, negotiating key deal documents including NDAs, term sheets, and definitive purchase agreements, assisting principals with business development and deal sourcing activities, and leading and mentoring Associates on the investment team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience sourcing deals and conducting investment due diligence, exhibit fundamental knowledge of the technology and/or healthcare space, and be comfortable working in a lean team environment. Essential characteristics include experience leading deals, strong negotiation and commercial relationship-building skills, excellent networking abilities to identify investment opportunities, quantitative proficiency, and strong leadership skills.
