Vice President, Operational Risk Event Management

Oaktree Capital Management, a leading global alternative investment manager with approximately $200 billion in AUM spanning credit, private equity, real assets, and listed equities, is seeking a Vice President for Operational Risk Event Management in Los Angeles. This individual contributor role reports directly to the Head of Operational Risk Management and involves designing and implementing an enterprise-wide risk event and issue management program from the ground up. The VP will establish governance frameworks, define roles and responsibilities across the event lifecycle, develop executive-level reporting and escalation protocols, and implement a severity prioritization framework. The position requires strong leadership and influencing skills to drive organizational change across a 1,400-person firm with 25 global offices.
