Nuveen Real Estate is hiring a Director, Real Estate Research in New York to guide acquisition and portfolio strategy for the Americas rental housing market.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify emerging investment themes and markets ahead of broader market recognition

- Develop investment committee presentations on market conditions, opportunities, and risks

- Build and refine quantitative forecasting models

- Produce research content (internal reports to white papers)

- Leverage unconventional datasets and internal portfolio data for differentiated insights

- Collaborate with housing acquisition and asset management teams

Qualifications

- 3+ years in real estate research focused on American housing and global forecasting (required)

- 5+ years preferred; Bachelor's degree

- Advanced analytical skills; Excel and financial modeling proficiency
