Director, Assistant Portfolio Manager – Farmland REIT

Role Overview

Nuveen Real Estate (TIAA, $155B+ real assets AUM) is hiring a Director, Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Nuveen Farmland REIT — the Wealth Channel's first Semi Liquid Farmland Fund — in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the Farmland REIT portfolio across strategic allocations, acquisitions, and asset management

- Lead fundraising and investor relations including capital strategy

- Evaluate financial models and portfolio performance; develop hold/sell analyses

- Oversee annual farmland appraisal processes

- Develop quarterly and annual financial reports; organize Board meetings

- Monitor farmland industry trends and competitive landscape

Qualifications

- 5+ years farmland investment experience (required)

- Knowledge of land valuation and agricultural operations preferred

- Experience with non-traded REITs and wealth channel structures

- Financial modeling and client-facing capabilities
