About This Role
Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) operates a global Operator-Led Search Fund program, helping mid-career professionals identify, acquire, grow, and exit established small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) typically facing succession challenges. The firm connects sophisticated investors with direct access to private markets through its deal-by-deal investment model.
NCA is seeking a proactive Investor Relations Senior Associate to join its US team. The role bridges operational excellence with increasing exposure to investor-facing activities, supporting investor communications, fundraising efforts, and relationship management across the firm's investor network.
Key responsibilities include supporting communication with investors, ensuring timely and professional interactions, and coordinating the preparation and distribution of quarterly reports and investment materials. The associate will assist in managing relationships with HNWIs, family offices, and other investor groups across the United States, and organize and participate in investor calls, meetings, and events.
On the fundraising side, the role involves supporting ongoing fundraising efforts for syndicated deal-by-deal investments, assisting in preparing investment presentations and teasers, and coordinating investor outreach and follow-ups throughout the deal lifecycle. The associate will also help manage investor pipelines and track engagement across opportunities, and conduct research on potential investors, market trends, and comparable transactions.
Operationally, the role involves maintaining and updating investor and deal data within CRM systems, overseeing data rooms, supporting onboarding of new investors and co-investors, and coordinating with legal and internal stakeholders to prepare and distribute documentation.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with solid operational experience in investor relations, fundraising, or finance. Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously are essential. Experience with family offices or private market environments is a plus.
