Private Equity - Program Associate

About the Role

Neuberger Berman's Private Equity platform - one of the firm's leading alternatives businesses with over $100 billion of investor commitments - is hiring an Associate to work across its Program Investing team in Dallas, TX. The role spans two complementary strategies: Private Equity Fund Commitments and Direct Co-Investment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct due diligence on primary private equity fund investments across buyouts, growth equity, venture and real assets

- Evaluate direct co-investment opportunities alongside premier financial sponsors

- Perform in-depth analysis of companies, industries and private equity portfolios

- Prepare due diligence materials and investment committee memos

- Monitor existing investments through fund manager interaction, annual meetings, and quarterly financial reviews

- Support fund marketing, client requests, and special projects such as product development and asset allocation analyses

Qualifications

- Strong undergraduate academic record

- 2-3 years of top-tier investment banking or asset management experience

- Exceptional quantitative, analytical and written communication skills

- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and team orientation

Compensation

The posted salary range is $125,000-$135,000, plus a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package (medical/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, life insurance).
