An exceptional opportunity is available for a highly capable communications professional to join Neuberger Berman as Manager/Vice President, Employee Communications Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping internal dialogue and fostering a well-informed, engaged culture across our private equity operations. As a key contributor, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact in all internal communications, directly supporting the strategic objectives and growth within one of the firm’s critical asset classes.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Manager/Vice President, Employee Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies tailored to the private equity group. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Communication Planning:* Design and implement communication plans that align with the private equity group's goals, ensuring employees are informed about key initiatives, performance, and organizational changes.
Content Development and Delivery:* Create compelling and accurate content for a variety of internal channels, including firm-wide announcements, leadership messages, intranet articles, presentations, and internal events.
Leadership Support:* Partner with senior leaders within the private equity business to craft and deliver impactful messages, advising on tone, timing, and optimal communication methods.
Channel Management:* Oversee and optimize internal communication platforms to ensure effective reach and engagement across the private equity workforce.
Change Management Communications:* Support and facilitate communication efforts related to organizational evolution, ensuring smooth transitions and clear understanding among employees.
Culture and Engagement:* Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and reinforce the firm's values and culture through thoughtful and consistent communication.
Candidates for this Vice President-level role should possess a robust background in internal or employee communications, ideally within the financial services or investment management industry, with exposure to private equity or similar alternative asset classes being advantageous. A demonstrated ability to manage complex internal communication projects, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of advising senior stakeholders are essential. The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
