MSFO Investment Officer - Private Markets, Global Investment Office, Vice President

The Morgan Stanley Family Office (MSFO) group partners with Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors across all channels to offer portfolio management services to family office clients of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The Investment Officer will build and manage client portfolios for Single Family Office clients, responsible for asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management and monitoring. The role includes sourcing, analyzing and advising on private markets co-investment deals and other alternative investments, engaging with clients to perform client discovery, drafting investment policy statements, and providing quarterly reporting. Additional responsibilities include ensuring smooth functioning of administrative and operational activities with outside custodians, partnering with internal advisors and consultants to win new clients and raise assets, and preparing portfolio allocation and performance reports for client investment committee presentations. Requirements: 5-10 years of investment-related experience servicing individuals and families in wealth management or investment consulting, with experience in alternative investments, specifically private equity co-investments, and knowledge of global capital markets across asset classes.
