Senior Associate / Vice President, Capital Formation & Investor Relations

Moderne Ventures, a leading proptech and real estate technology venture capital firm based in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its Capital Formation & Investor Relations team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Founder and Head of Investor Relations on all aspects of fundraising and LP relationship management for a market-leading venture platform focused on innovation in real estate, finance, insurance, and home services. The position encompasses three key areas. In business development, the candidate will cultivate relationships with new and existing investors, attend fundraising events, and support strategic outreach to institutional and family office limited partners. In communications and marketing, the role involves creating compelling investor materials, managing investor communications and reporting, and organizing LP events and annual meetings. In administration, responsibilities include maintaining CRM and investor databases, managing data rooms, and processing subscription documents and offering materials. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of experience in private investment, capital raising, or client-facing financial services roles. Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills. This is a Chicago-based role requiring either residency or willingness to relocate. Competitive compensation package offered.
