Head of Private Equity and Structured Credit Valuations

Millennium Management is one of the world's largest alternative asset management firms, known for its multi-strategy approach across global markets. The firm is seeking a senior valuation professional to lead the valuation function across its Private Equity and Private Credit strategies.

The Head of Private Equity and Structured Credit Valuations will be responsible for building and enhancing a scalable, institutionally robust valuation framework across a broad range of illiquid investments, while serving as a strategic partner to Investment, Finance, Accounting, Technology, and senior management teams.

Key responsibilities include: leading the valuation framework across Private Equity, Private Credit, Structured Credit, and other illiquid investments; establishing consistent methodologies, governance standards, controls, and documentation practices; overseeing valuation models across DCF, market comps, precedent transactions, recovery analysis, option pricing, and credit-based methodologies; partnering with Technology and Data teams to improve valuation systems and workflows; acting as the senior valuation partner to Portfolio Managers and investment teams; partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure GAAP-aligned valuations; and leading engagement with auditors and third-party valuation agents.

Required qualifications: 10+ years of experience in valuation, private markets, transaction advisory, or related roles; strong experience across Private Equity, Private Credit, and other illiquid investments; deep knowledge of valuation methodologies; proven ability to build or improve valuation frameworks and operating processes; advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. The estimated base salary range is $160,000 to $250,000, with a discretionary performance bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
