Originator - Infrastructure Debt

MetLife Investment Management is seeking an Originator to lead infrastructure and project finance debt origination across the Americas and Asia Pacific. This senior role involves sourcing proprietary and club infrastructure debt opportunities and executing investment-grade and high-yield transactions aligned with client mandates.

Origination and Execution:

- Source proprietary infrastructure debt opportunities through senior-level relationships with sponsors, borrowers, agents, and investment banks

- Lead screening, underwriting, structuring, and negotiation of investment-grade and high-yield infrastructure and project finance debt

- Oversee preparation of investment committee memoranda and client-facing materials

- Direct transaction execution from mandate through closing

Portfolio Management:

- Maintain senior oversight of portfolio investments originated

- Lead strategy and negotiations for amendments, waivers, and restructurings

- Oversee ongoing monitoring of portfolio investments including annual reviews

Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a high-performing origination and underwriting team

- Contribute to product development and cross-platform collaboration

- Represent MetLife Investment Management at industry conferences

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of infrastructure and/or project finance credit and origination experience

- Bachelor required; MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred

- Deep structuring expertise in investment-grade and high-yield lending
