Investment Manager

Maven Capital Partners is seeking an Investment Manager to join its London-based Investment Team, focused on identifying, appraising and partnering with high-growth businesses across the UK.

Role Overview

As Investment Manager, you will be a core member of the London team and take an active role across the full investment lifecycle — from sourcing new opportunities through to portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate deal flow by leveraging your professional networks and proactively identifying high-growth investment opportunities

- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on prospective portfolio companies

- Prepare and present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee

- Support deal negotiations and transaction structuring

- Manage ongoing relationships with portfolio company management teams and board representatives

- Represent Maven Capital Partners at industry events and networking forums

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of venture investing or private equity experience

- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills

- Demonstrable track record of sourcing and executing investments

- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Location & Working Arrangements

Based in London, with occasional travel across South England to visit portfolio companies and attend events. Flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
