About This Role

Manhattan West Enterprise Company, a modern and fast-growing investment firm offering proprietary alternative investments across Venture Capital, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Private Debt (alongside traditional equity/fixed income portfolios and wealth management, business management, tax, and insurance services), is hiring an Investment Operations Associate for its alternative investments team in Century City, Los Angeles, CA.

The role centers on administrative and client support functions across Manhattan West's alternative investments, with a particular focus on supporting the firm's Late-Stage Venture (pre-IPO companies) efforts. The Associate reports to the Director of Operations and works 4 days per week in office after a 90-day period.

Responsibilities span the full investment transaction lifecycle: preparing subscription documents, processing and tracking wires, managing prospect and client communications and the investor database, managing fund and SPV finances, maintaining the data room, facilitating NDAs, assisting with fund/entity formation documents and audit confirmations, supporting business development and investor relations projects and marketing materials, coordinating with third-party service providers and the legal/compliance teams on investment agreements, maintaining capital tables, and assisting with investor distributions.

Candidates need a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution and 1-3 years of relevant experience in Client Services or the financial industry, with expert-level Excel, Microsoft Office, and DocuSign skills. Strong attention to detail, project management ability, professional demeanor, self-motivation, and excellent written and oral communication are required, along with the ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Preferred but not required: experience with alternative investments (venture, private equity, private credit), Orion wealth management software, and Pitchbook.

Compensation is $85,000-$105,000 based on qualifications and experience, plus a discretionary bonus, medical/vision/dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, stock market holidays, and paid time off.
