Role Overview

Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures (LMSV), the corporate venture capital arm of Liberty Mutual Insurance, is hiring a VC Analyst in Boston. LMSV manages a $150M venture fund targeting early-stage investments transforming the insurance sector (Future of Shelter, (Re)Insurance, Mobility, Small Business, Risk, Cyber, and Climate Change).

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, track, and monitor start-ups of interest and assist with screening

- Conduct market research and prepare investment recommendation materials

- Engage in due diligence activities

- Represent the fund at industry events and collaborate across Liberty business units

- Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare reports for leadership and investment committees

Qualifications

- Strong market research and analytical skills

- Comfort with 25% travel and 2-3 days/week office presence at the Back Bay location

Compensation & Location

Boston, MA (Back Bay, hybrid). $80,200-$105,000 USD annually.
