Structured Credit Investment Analyst / Associate

KKR, a leading global investment firm managing alternative assets across private equity, credit, and real assets, is seeking a Structured Credit Investment Analyst/Associate to join its Structured Credit Portfolio Management team in San Francisco.

KKR Credit is responsible for more than $240 billion in assets under management with 230 investment professionals. The Structured Credit team sits within Leveraged Credit, which oversees over $100 billion in AUM with 50+ investment professionals.

The ideal candidate will bring 1-4 years of relevant experience and will be expected to recommend trades based on relative value or to improve portfolio metrics, present to investment committee on trade ideas and market updates, monitor CLO portfolio performance, and improve in-house analytical infrastructure supporting portfolio management.

Key responsibilities include: recommending trades and presenting investment ideas to the investment committee; monitoring CLO portfolio performance and improving analytical infrastructure; working with traders, legal, and middle office on investment guideline compliance; researching thematic topics in structured credit and ABS; performing pre-trade compliance; assisting in monitoring credit risk across portfolios; and liaising with the research team on earnings, sector news, and fundamentals.

The ideal candidate has a background in CLO/structured credit trading, structuring, or investing, with a base understanding of the leveraged loan product and CLO experience. Proficiency in Python or R, strong analytical capabilities, and experience with fund compliance documentation and CLO indentures are highly valued.
