The Principal will play a pivotal role in originating, structuring, and executing bespoke financing solutions that support KKR's investment objectives and enhance the capital structures of its portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

* Leading the origination, structuring, and execution of asset-backed and asset-based financing transactions across KKR's private equity portfolio companies.

* Developing and implementing innovative capital markets solutions, including securitizations, warehouse facilities, and other structured credit products, to optimize financing structures and support growth initiatives.

* Managing relationships with a broad network of financial institutions, including investment banks, commercial banks, rating agencies, and legal counsel, to secure favorable terms and efficient execution.

* Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment for potential structured transactions, ensuring alignment with KKR's investment criteria and risk parameters.

* Advising KKR investment teams and portfolio company management on capital structure optimization, market trends, and financing opportunities within the asset-based finance landscape.

* Mentoring and guiding junior team members, contributing to the professional development of the capital markets team.

* Monitoring capital markets conditions, regulatory developments, and emerging structured finance products to proactively identify opportunities and risks.

The successful candidate will possess a distinguished career demonstrating extensive experience, typically 10-15+ years, in structured capital markets, with a specialized focus on asset-backed or asset-based finance within an investment bank, private credit firm, or leading alternative asset manager. A proven track record of successfully structuring, negotiating, and executing complex financing transactions, coupled with deep market relationships, is essential. Candidates must exhibit a sophisticated understanding of relevant legal, regulatory, and credit considerations for structured products, alongside strong analytical capabilities, superior communication skills, and the gravitas to engage with internal and external stakeholders at an executive level. Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior professionals are also highly valued.
