Role Overview

IQ-EQ, a global Investor Services group providing administration, accounting, reporting and compliance services to the investment industry, is hiring a Management Company Director for its Alternative Investment Management team in Dallas, TX. IQ-EQ employs 6,500+ people across 24 jurisdictions, administers over US$857 billion in assets, and works with 13 of the world's top-15 private equity firms. The role oversees accounting and financial reporting for Management Company entities within IQ-EQ's private equity fund administration practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounting and financial reporting for Management Company entities, including financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting

- Oversee fiscal operations including the chart of accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and expense allocations (travel and entertainment)

- Lead the monthly close cycle and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, collaborating with client finance teams

- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders; reconcile cash flows; prepare ad-hoc reports; support new client onboarding

- Contribute to developing financial controls and streamlining processes across multiple entities and locations

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA, ACA, or ACCA preferred

- 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting within the alternative investment industry, with strong US GAAP knowledge

- Proven leadership managing accounting teams across multiple entities and locations

- Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems such as Sage or NetSuite

Compensation & Location

Based in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid work schedule. Salary range is $140,000-$180,000 depending on experience and location. Benefits include a 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid parental leave, and 4 weeks of PTO.
