Vice President, Private Credit

Vice President, Private Credit at Invesco Senior Secured Management — London

Invesco is seeking a Vice President to join its Senior Secured Management team in London. The role covers the full credit spectrum from senior secured loans to high yield bonds and private credit, with deep sector ownership and investment committee participation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare credit theses for senior secured loans, high yield bonds (fixed & floating), and middle-market private investments

- Produce underwriting memos covering company/industry analysis, capital structure, cash-flow projections, collateral assessment, sponsor quality, and restructuring considerations

- Present investment memos to the Investment Committee with clear investment theses and risk mitigants

- Build in-depth knowledge across 2-3 industries and maintain coverage of 25-30 issuers

- Conduct ongoing monitoring including financial analysis, cash-flow modelling, industry deep-dives, and rating reviews

- Identify secondary market opportunities and support workout and distressed situations

- Engage with syndicate desks, sell-side analysts, and private equity sponsors on primary and secondary opportunities

- Participate in management meetings, site visits, plant tours, and expert calls

Requirements:

- Solid credit analyst experience covering leveraged loans, high yield bonds, and/or direct lending

- Strong financial modelling skills (Microsoft Office)

- Experience in credit underwriting and investment analysis
