Junior Portfolio Manager, iDPE - Vice President

iCapital is seeking a Vice President, Junior Portfolio Manager for its iDirect Private Equity (iDPE) platform, a registered evergreen fund focused on direct co-investment opportunities in private companies.

The role is central to iCapital's rapidly growing alternatives platform, which connects institutional and individual investors with private equity opportunities. The VP will evaluate new direct co-investment opportunities, monitor and analyze the existing portfolio, and serve as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include performing due diligence on private companies and industries alongside senior investment team members, preparing investment memoranda, overseeing portfolio monitoring, conducting portfolio analysis, and managing liquidity planning. The role requires close coordination with Sales, Accounting, Product Management, Compliance, and Marketing teams. The VP will also support external investor communications and help create business development presentations.

Candidates should have 6 or more years of experience in financial services, with a background in private equity, investment banking, capital markets, transaction advisory, investment consulting, or portfolio analytics. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role requires a professional demeanor combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Compensation includes a base salary of $180,000 to $230,000, plus equity participation available to all full-time employees and an annual performance bonus.
