Real Estate Development and Investment Associate

Hunt Companies, Inc is seeking a Real Estate Development and Investment Associate to join its team in El Paso, TX. The role sits at the intersection of real estate investment and development, providing exposure to a broad range of Hunt's real estate platforms, operating platforms, portfolio recapitalizations, and joint ventures.

Primary responsibilities include financial modeling for underwriting and due diligence of new developments, acquisitions, and joint venture opportunities; preparation of investment committee memoranda; capital raising presentations; and performance monitoring of owned investments. The associate will prepare and analyze market data for all submarkets within the portfolio, support creation of annual business plans, and assist in negotiating deal terms.

The position also leverages AI research tools and data platforms for market intelligence. Candidates should have 4–6 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, infrastructure, or related fields, with strong Excel and financial modeling skills. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related discipline from a top-tier school is required.
