This is a significant opportunity to lead strategic asset management within Hines' Private Equity division, based in Los Angeles, United States. As a Director, you will be instrumental in optimizing the performance and value of a sophisticated portfolio of private equity investments, contributing directly to fund returns and investor success. The Director - Asset Management will hold primary responsibility for overseeing the strategic direction and operational performance of a designated portfolio of private equity assets. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing, refining, and executing comprehensive asset-level business plans to maximize returns, in alignment with fund objectives and investment strategies.

* Leading the monitoring and analysis of portfolio performance, including financial modeling, valuation exercises, and market research, to identify risks and opportunities.

* Directing the implementation of value-add initiatives, operational enhancements, and capital expenditure programs across the portfolio.

* Managing relationships with operating partners, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective execution of asset strategies.

* Overseeing financial reporting, investor communications, and compliance requirements for assigned assets, providing clear and concise updates on performance and strategic direction.

* Guiding the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions, providing expert analysis on asset performance, market positioning, and exit strategies.

* Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture within the asset management function.
