Venture Partner at High Street Equity Partners (Remote / Washington DC)

High Street Equity Partners (HSEP) is a venture capital firm focused on equitable investing in seed-stage technology companies with diverse founders. The firm provides operational, financial, and policy expertise to help portfolio companies scale.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source deal-flow and evaluate investment opportunities

- Develop and maintain investor and portfolio company relationships

- Coach and mentor assigned portfolio companies (minimum 520 annual support hours)

- Identify co-investors and strategic partners for portfolio companies

- Support fund fundraising efforts

- Monitor portfolio performance and make follow-on investment decisions

- Provide direct operational support to founders

Required Qualifications:

- Must be an accredited investor with capital available to invest as a Limited Partner

- 5+ years entrepreneurial/startup experience OR 3+ years venture capital/angel investing experience

- Senior leadership background

- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills

Compensation: Fund management fee, carried interest, and distributions from investments as an LP.

Location: Remote (offices in Washington, DC and Little Rock, Arkansas)
