Vice President, Impact Investing

A global climate-focused organization with secure, long-term institutional backing is seeking a Vice President, Impact Investing to lead a newly created impact-first investing practice.

This is a rare entrepreneurial mandate within a highly resourced environment. The role involves architecting a strategy from first principles, guiding ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and family offices to integrate catalytic capital into their broader climate and impact portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, launch, and lead an impact-first investing practice focused on catalytic climate capital

- Guide UHNW clients and family offices on integrating catalytic investments alongside their broader portfolios

- Build and manage a dedicated four-person impact-first investing pod, including direct reports and embedded diligence specialists

- Collaborate with the global climate strategies team on diligence for philanthropic and investment projects

- Develop governance frameworks and investment criteria for catalytic climate investing

- Serve as a thought leader within the climate impact investing space, representing the organization to clients and the broader ecosystem
