HC9 Ventures, an early-stage healthcare venture capital firm, seeks a VP/Principal in New York. This is a unique opportunity to have a hand in building a new firm, reporting directly to the Managing General Partner.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify market gaps and track healthcare startup trends

- Screen and engage emerging companies

- Drive due diligence and prepare investment materials

- Collaborate on portfolio management and board roles

- Build firm infrastructure and LP relationships

Requirements

- Deep healthcare industry knowledge

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Independent and collaborative work style

Preferred

- VC/PE background, healthcare consulting, founder/operating experience, angel investing

- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, JD, MD, PhD)
