Harrison Street Asset Management ("HSAM") is hiring an Analyst to join its Transactions team in Chicago, starting Summer 2027. HSAM is a leading global alternative investment management firm focused on real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies, with over $108 billion in assets under management on behalf of institutional investors and registered investment advisors. The firm is headquartered in Chicago, Toronto, and London, with more than 520 professionals across offices in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial analysis and modeling of new real estate investment opportunities

- Industry/business research and due diligence on potential investments

- Assisting in preparing and presenting materials to Harrison Street's Investment Committee

- Supporting senior management in executing and closing transactions

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record (GPA 3.5 or higher), preferably in real estate, finance, economics, or engineering

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to concisely summarize analysis and research

- Self-starter able to take on significant responsibility with limited supervision

- Passion for real estate, finance, investing, and/or private equity

- U.S. work authorization required

Program Structure & Compensation

This is a two-and-a-half-year Acquisitions Analyst program; strong performers are typically promoted to Associate afterward. Harrison Street historically closes more than 80 transactions annually, giving Analysts exposure to significant deal volume. Base salary is $100,000/year (disclosed for Illinois), plus a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, financial, and wellness programs.
