Associate

HarbourVest is a global private markets investment firm with over forty years of history. This Associate role sits within the EMEA Direct Investment team, based in London, which co-invests in buyout transactions alongside established fund managers and participates in growth equity investments.

Key Responsibilities

- Investment due diligence, including company and industry research

- Financial analysis, modelling, and quantitative analysis

- Developing investment recommendations and Investment Committee papers

- Participating in team and Investment Committee discussions

- Coordinating legal documentation and transaction closing

- Meeting General Partners and attending annual meetings/industry conferences

- Monitoring existing portfolio companies

Work Arrangement

Hybrid — 18 remote workdays per quarter, subject to manager approval.

Qualifications

Strong quantitative and financial modelling abilities; deep interest in private equity and related markets.
