Managing Director, Direct Credit Product Specialist

As Managing Director – Direct Credit Product Specialist, you will be the senior product leader for Hamilton Lane's Direct Credit platform, responsible for driving the growth of closed-end and evergreen credit investment solutions across institutional and private wealth channels globally.

What you will do:

- Serve as the primary product representative and subject matter expert for the Direct Credit platform (closed-end and evergreen structures)

- Lead day-to-day product management across the full lifecycle—from fundraising launch through portfolio management and investor reporting

- Partner with the Direct Credit investment team, Client Solutions, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to deliver superior investor experiences

- Drive product strategy, innovation, and competitive positioning for the Direct Credit platform

- Support new product development and platform expansion in direct lending, unitranche, and structured credit strategies

- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth platforms globally

What you bring:

- 12+ years of experience in private markets product management, investor relations, or direct credit investing

- Deep knowledge of private credit markets—direct lending, unitranche, mezzanine, structured credit

- Experience managing both closed-end and evergreen fund structures

- Strong existing relationships with institutional LPs and/or private wealth distributors

- Excellent communication and presentation skills for sophisticated investor audiences
