Vice President, Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF), Co-Investment Team

Role Overview

Goldman Sachs Asset Management is seeking a Vice President for its Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) Co-Investment Team within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM). ACF manages capital raising and strategy across the full spectrum of alternatives — private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds / liquid alternatives. This role sits specifically within ACF's Co-Investments vertical, coordinating syndication of co-investment opportunities to AWM's investor base alongside Goldman Sachs' own private investments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the syndication process for co-investments to investor clients across all alternatives strategies (PE, credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainable investing)

- Structure investment transactions with deal teams, addressing commercial, legal, accounting, tax and regulatory considerations

- Market investment opportunities and manage deal-related marketing materials and analyses

- Participate in syndication approval and allocation processes; negotiate commercial/legal terms with investor clients

- Coordinate with deal and execution teams through closing; track co-investment activity and prepare senior-leadership updates

Qualifications

- 7-10 years in a similar or related role; prior experience in investment banking, alternatives investing, or fundraising also applicable

- Understanding of financial/credit analysis, valuation and primary research applied to investment decisions and deal structuring

- Strong project management, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
