Associate, Infrastructure

GIC, one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds with over 2,000 employees across 11 locations globally, is hiring an Associate for its Infrastructure Group in London. The team deploys long-term capital through direct and fund investments across the capital structure, giving the Associate the opportunity to make direct equity investments across the infrastructure asset class -- including gas and electricity networks, power generation and renewables, communications infrastructure, water utilities, airports, seaports and highways. GIC targets infrastructure companies with stable and predictable cash flows, long-term inflation protection and reasonable risk-adjusted returns. Responsibilities include evaluating and executing new infrastructure investments, compiling and presenting financial and qualitative analysis of companies and sectors, establishing and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies, monitoring the existing infrastructure portfolio, representing GIC at investor and board meetings, and contributing to special projects such as market mapping of industries.
