General Atlantic is seeking a Vice President to join the Portfolio Management team, with a primary focus on the firm core growth equity investment strategy. The VP will be responsible for leading fund- and portfolio-level analytics, risk management, and strategic insights, working closely with senior leadership, portfolio managers, investment teams, and cross-functional partners including Finance, Capital Solutions, Legal/Compliance, Fund Accounting, Valuations, and Technology.
Core responsibilities include leading portfolio- and fund-level analytics encompassing performance, risk, exposure, and concentration analyses across sectors, strategies, and vintages. The VP will oversee the design and maintenance of strategy-specific dashboards and KPIs to provide clear, decision-useful insights to senior leadership, portfolio managers, and the Portfolio Committee.
The role requires analyzing investment performance and returns including IRR, MOIC, DPI, TVPI, volatility, and drawdowns at both the company and fund/portfolio level, translating findings into actionable recommendations. The VP will synthesize trends across the portfolio and macro data to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic themes.
