About This Role
General Atlantic seeks a Director to report directly to the Vice President of the General Partner Funds and oversee day to day operations, assisting with audit and tax work on a quarterly cadence, plus managing carry program functions across the organization. Key responsibilities: Review junior team deliverables and journal entries; manage carry allocations with Human Capital Management; approve realized carry calculations and wire transfers; prepare quarterly financials with corporate accounting; coordinate tax estimates and annual returns with internal/external tax teams; manage NAV packages with third-party administrators; analyze data impacting the carry program; automate processes for efficiency gains. CPA preferred. 6+ years public/private accounting experience (ideally private equity). GA manages approximately $123 billion in AUM across Growth Equity, Credit, Climate, and Sustainable Infrastructure strategies. Base salary: $150,000-$190,000.
