About This Role

General Atlantic, one of the world's leading global growth equity firms with approximately $118 billion in assets under management, is seeking an Associate to join its Fund Operations team in Stamford, CT. The firm manages capital across Growth Equity, Credit, Climate, and Sustainable Infrastructure strategies, with more than 900 professionals across 20 countries.

This role sits within General Atlantic's Finance Group and provides broad exposure across the organization, working closely with finance, accounting, valuations, tax, treasury, investment professionals, legal counsel, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing investment schedules across the full investment lifecycle from acquisition through exit, reconciling investment activity across multiple data sources, coordinating with deal teams to onboard investments and maintain portfolio company data, partnering with the valuation team on equity allocation models, and managing allocation inputs and investor communications including capital call and distribution notices.

The Associate will also support settlement and reporting of public market transactions, maintain custody and stock records in compliance with SEC regulations, assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting, and respond to investor inquiries regarding transactions and commitments.
