Director, Private Investments

First Citizens Wealth is seeking a Director of Private Investments to lead its private markets platform across private equity, private credit, and real assets in New York. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, encompassing manager selection, due diligence, GP relationship management, and investment performance evaluation. The Director will also represent the platform in client and prospect meetings alongside relationship and sales teams, and provide leadership to dedicated investment research staff. The ideal candidate holds 10+ years of experience in private market investments, with a CFA charter, MBA, or PhD preferred. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 base salary plus variable incentives. This hybrid role based in New York offers exposure to a fast-evolving private markets business at a major U.S. bank serving institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
