About This Role

Dragonfly, a global crypto-native investment firm with over $3.6B in AUM, is hiring an Investor / Partner for its USA Deal Team focused on growth-stage venture capital and growth equity. Dragonfly's team combines seasoned VCs and technologists investing in generational crypto companies and protocols, with roots in New York, Silicon Valley, and Asia. The firm has published widely-read research on stablecoins, market structure, decentralized finance, and protocol security.

The successful candidate will join a small, highly collaborative team working directly with Dragonfly's Managing and General Partners, portfolio companies, and investors — including leading crypto companies and protocols, world-renowned PE and VC investors, and founders of large public tech and finance companies.

Responsibilities include proactively sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting business and financial analysis, valuation, modeling, deal structuring, and due diligence support, performing industry and market research, and providing high-touch post-investment support to portfolio companies. There is also opportunity to contribute to research, publishing, and media.

Requirements include 4+ years of experience in Private Equity, Growth Equity, VC, Investment Management, Consulting, or Investment Banking; strong analytical skills; relevant expertise in areas such as Math, Cryptography, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering as they relate to crypto; exceptional communication and project management skills; and the ability to work full-time from Dragonfly's New York office. A passion for blockchain, fintech, and technology is essential, along with a strong ethical code.

Preferred qualifications include prior investment experience in crypto companies, fintech, or tech, familiarity with crypto tools such as Dune Analytics and Etherscan, and a strong network within fintech, technology, and crypto.
