Associate, Investment Team

Deerpath Capital is a leading direct lending firm specializing in providing first lien, senior debt financing to middle market companies. Focused on the U.S. lower middle market, Deerpath provides debt capital for acquisitions, refinancings, ownership transitions, and growth capital. The firm has investment offices in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Fort Lauderdale, as well as overseas investor relations offices in London, Seoul, Tokyo, and Brisbane, employing approximately 100 professionals.

The Associate on the Investment Team will evaluate new investment opportunities including modeling, industry research, and meetings with management teams. Additional responsibilities include preparing and presenting analysis and materials for the firm's investment committee, monitoring existing portfolio companies, and assisting in business development efforts such as attending industry conferences and meeting with private equity firms and bankers.

Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, buyside transaction advisory, or at a similar lender or private equity fund. Strong financial modeling skills, deal execution experience, and the ability to work independently are required. No recruiter submissions accepted.
