Defense Sector Private Equity Associate/Vice President

Crow Holdings, a Dallas-based multi-generational investment firm with over 30 years of experience in real assets and direct investing, is seeking a seasoned private investment professional to lead the buildout of its new defense sector vertical.

The role is critical for driving both strategic and operational aspects of Crow Holdings' defense investment activity. The firm pursues direct minority and influence investments in mid and lower middle market defense companies, with a patient, long-term approach to developing the platform over time. This is a high-visibility, integral position within the firm.

Key Responsibilities: The Associate/Vice President will develop and manage a defense sector investment portfolio, focusing on direct investments using firm capital (as opposed to a fund management model). The role requires cultivating deep relationships within the defense industry landscape, collaborating extensively to build the firm's presence, and identifying and executing on opportunities in the mid and lower middle market. The professional will contribute to both strategic planning and hands-on investment execution.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant private investment experience with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the investment community. A bachelor's degree in finance or related field is required.
