About This Role
Crossing Hurdles is recruiting a Private Equity Associate for a remote contract engagement supporting institutional private equity deal processes. This is a contract role offering $100 to $144 per hour with a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week, designed for experienced PE professionals available for project-based advisory work.
The Private Equity Associate will conduct comprehensive due diligence, analyzing confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and supporting deal documentation to evaluate investment opportunities. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and refining Investment Committee (IC) memos and Board Decks to support senior decision-making processes. The Associate will navigate complex public filings, financial statements, and dense transaction documents, collaborating closely with internal and external teams to monitor task progress and ensure accuracy throughout the deal lifecycle.
Requirements include strong relevant experience in private equity or a combination of private equity and investment banking at the Associate or Analyst level. Expertise in reviewing public filings, conducting M&A or financing transactions, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials is essential. Strong proficiency with Investment Committee memos and Board Decks is required, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a disciplined approach to managing multiple simultaneous projects with strict confidentiality.
