About This Role
Crossing Hurdles is recruiting a Private Equity Analyst for a remote contract engagement supporting institutional private equity deal processes. This is a flexible contract role offering $100 to $144 per hour with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week, suited for experienced PE and investment banking professionals available for project-based deal work.
The Private Equity Analyst will conduct comprehensive due diligence, analyzing confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and supporting deal documentation to evaluate investment opportunities. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and refining Investment Committee (IC) memos and Board Decks for high-impact deals, as well as navigating complex public filings, financial statements, and dense transaction documents to ensure thorough investment evaluation. The Analyst will work closely with internal and external teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
Successful candidates must have strong relevant experience in private equity or a combination of private equity and investment banking at the Analyst or Associate level. Expertise in reviewing public filings, conducting M&A or financing transactions, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials is required. Proficiency in structuring and presenting Investment Committee memos and Board Decks, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are critical to this role.
