This presents a significant opportunity for an accomplished Real Estate Private Equity professional to join a prominent firm as a Director, focusing on transaction execution. As a Director, the successful candidate will play a central role in the firm's investment activities. Key responsibilities include:
Transaction Origination and Execution:* Leading the end-to-end transaction process, from sourcing and initial screening of investment opportunities to detailed due diligence, comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, structuring, and closing. This involves rigorous analysis of market trends, property fundamentals, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes to identify compelling investment theses.
Investment Committee Presentations:* Preparing and presenting detailed investment memoranda to the Investment Committee, clearly articulating investment theses, comprehensive risk assessments, and projected returns, defending recommendations with robust analysis.
Negotiation and Documentation:* Spearheading negotiations with sellers, partners, and lenders, and overseeing the legal documentation process to ensure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and achieve optimal transaction outcomes.
Portfolio Oversight:* Contributing to the strategic oversight of acquired assets, working closely with asset management teams to drive value creation initiatives, monitor performance against investment objectives, and inform disposition strategies.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:* Mentoring and guiding junior investment professionals, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, professional development, and collaborative execution within the investment team.
Relationship Management:* Cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with brokers, developers, advisors, and capital partners within the real estate investment community to enhance deal flow and market intelligence.
