Chief Financial Officer

The PE sponsor seeks a CFO for a mid-market distribution business operating in the consumer and retail sector in Denver. The CFO will support continued growth and prepare the company for a planned 2028 exit. Key responsibilities include delivering actionable insights and supporting commercial decision making through improved analytical infrastructure, translating operational inventory and sales data into actionable business intelligence, overseeing all financial operations including FP&A accounting treasury and compliance, leading M&A financial due diligence and integration activities, and building a high-performance finance team. Required qualifications include CFO experience at PE-backed lower-middle market companies, distribution and inventory-intensive business background, strong analytical and operational finance capabilities, M&A integration experience, and private equity exposure highly preferred. The retained search partner is Falcon Partners. Compensation includes competitive salary annual bonus and wealth-building equity grant.
